Meet using HIPAA secure SimplePractice or Google Meet telehealth video technology. Once you book an appointment, you will receive reminders for your appointment that you can attend through a computer or smartphone. I can meet with patients in any PSYPACT state.
Therapy & Approach
Individual Therapy
Meet using HIPAA secure SimplePractice.
$200 intake sessions and $175 per 50 minute session. Additional fees may apply if a translator is needed.
Couples Therapy
Meet using HIPAA secure SimplePractice. You and your partner can be together or in separate locations.
$225 for 50 minute intake and $200 per 50 minute session. Additional fees may apply if a translator is needed.
Family Therapy
Meet using HIPAA secure SimplePractice and/or Google Meet depending on the number of attendees as only 3 people can meet in SimplePractice. Sessions typically begin with sessions with individuals from the family for the intake, and then the group meets when Dr. Malak deems the family psychologically safe and ready.
$225 per intake with each family member separately and $200 per 50 minute family session. Additional fees may apply if a translator is needed, and the number of intakes depends on the family situation.
Group Therapy
Meet using HIPAA secure Google Meet once a week and get support from Dr. Malak and the power of the group. Groups will range from 4-10 participants.
Stressed and Sexy BIPOC Women’s Group is for women of culture who are struggling with dating/relationships, intergenerational trauma, discrimination, family of origin concerns, and more. Please contact me if you are interested in such a group as 4-10 people need to sign up before it begins.
Reconciling Faith and Sexuality for individuals from conservative, religious/spiritual cultures that are anti-LGBTQ+. Please contact me if you are interested in such a group as 4-10 people need to sign up before it begins.
Teen or Adult Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group: Learn mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation skills. Please contact me if you are interested in such a group as 4-10 people need to sign up before it begins.
$200 intake unless already a patient and $75 per 90 minute group session.
Psychological Assessment
Call or email Dr. Malak to ensure your assessment needs align with her specialties. She will refer you to more appropriate psychologists if needed.
